Sijainti:
Replacement Treatment Community
The customers are mainly persons who will probably be unable to stop using drugs altogether. The replacement treatment may, however, prevent infectious diseases and other adverse health effects and their quality of life can thus be improved. The replacement treatment community programme is also available for customers who have found it difficult to commit themselves to other forms of addiction care services. The replacement treatment community is run as a communal drop-in centre and is meant for customers who would benefit from the support and services offered by the community. The community is open 9 a.m.–2 p.m. on weekdays and, apart from replacement treatment medication, offers the customers use of the community facilities, where they can read newspapers and magazines, watch TV, access the Web, make official phone calls, wash themselves, and do their laundry. The community offers its customers breakfast and lunch. The treatment also includes individual tutoring, community support, group activities, and network and institutional visits. If required, the community workers make weekly home visits, which may be more frequent if this is deemed necessary.
