Our day centre activities operate on the low threshold principle - easy access for those in need. We offer day centre services at three drop-in centres, two of which are located at the Helsinki Deaconess Institute's complex in Kallio and a third in the Puotinharju shopping centre at Itäkeskus. Pilke groups are small peer support groups intended for persons over 60 years of age who are drug abusers and live a marginalised life style. Pilke day centre activities are based at Pitäjänmäki, Malmi and Myllypuro. Art, culture and a sense of community are provided by the Citizens' Arena operating in conjunction with the Helsinki Deaconess Institute. The Stoori drop-in centre
