Research

 Clients and personnel require care expertise that is based on latest scientific research and has a diaconic orientation, is up-to-date and innovative. The Helsinki Deaconess Institute Foundation practices and supports scientific research on the fields it represents. Such research is related to research on social exclusion, conducted in universities and universities of applied sciences across Finland.

Ethical Committee

The Ethical Committee is tasked with conducting preliminary evaluations of studies on individual people and work communities, carried out within the Helsinki Deaconess Foundation/Group, and with issuing the related statement. The Committee evaluates all new research and project plans within its ambit, as well as significant changes in such plans.
